| So long, Xanga. It's been fun, I've loved being able to hang with my friends. Unfortunately, Xanga has died and it's time for me to leave. So yeah, I'm going to drop xanga, I think. I might be back to check up on you guys, but idk. If you want to catch up with me, email me. If you need my address, PM me and I'll get it to you. Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! | | |
| It said something like "If you don't want me to hit you, stay off the sidewalks." Good suggestion... because I now have my learners... In other news, check out this beastly song by Hawk Nelson. It kind of ties in with the last post. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZFBei3R9qU&feature=related | | |
| My dream is totally unrealistic, but yet I still cling to it. In my dream somehow I'm older, in the work world. In my dream maybe I'm married (not to anyone in particular). In my dream, it's a kind of quiet, peaceful neighborhood. In my dream, I have all my friends living around me. Maybe the best thing is that we're never too busy for each other, never to stressed to get together and we're always willing to have a laugh. In my dream, we would be able to glorify God together. In my dream we would be able to get together and have a barbecue if we wanted to. In my dream we would feel like we were family enough that we can drop in on each other with only two seconds notice. In my dream everyone would be happy. In my dream everyone would be enjoying each other. And in my dream no one would move (especially across the world). Yeah, it's not realistic in this world. You wonder why heaven looks so good? | | |
| So, I finished my first tournament without just novices. Kintzings got first, Deiblers and Snyders got 2nd and 3rd (I'm not sure which got which). Chloe and I were blessed to get fourth. Beka got first speaker, James got second, Anna got 4th, Katie got 5th, and Chloe got 6th (there were a couple more of note, but all of them are of note...). Hey guys, I can't really thank Chloe enough for putting up with me so far this year. I've been very noobish, I've done some dumb things, and I was the reason we lost our only round Saturday. I'm humbled by the fact she wanted to partner with me, even though she had several better debaters who were much better than me. If you guys get the chance, tell Chloe she's an awesome person. Some things I learned - 1) God is definitely in control 2) Nametags can be used in awkward ways 3) Dude 4) Even though he's not debating, Tim will always be considered a great friend 5) Gregory is amazing and 6) I have a lot of work to do on my debating. | | |
| well, the novice tournament went pretty well. CHLOE OWNED. guys, she was amazing. im glad she's on my side... mitch b. got second place speaks! and josh got sixth place speaks! and God blessed me enough to allow me to get first place speaks. but if experienced people qualified for speaks, chloe would have won. it was a really fun tournament. really draining (i'm now sick again), but really fun. it was good to see some people i hadn't seen in a while. i think my best quote was "Death is a bad thing". | | |
